Fought between around 20,000 emus and a troop of soldiers led by Major G. P. W of the Royal Australian Artillery, the Great Emu War was an attempt to cull the number of emus running amok in Western Australia. The emu’s won.
We’re delighted to release this commemorative jersey to celebrate the 90th anniversary of their victory, which just so happens to coincide with the the 2022 World Cup Quarter Finals.
